On November 14, Zviad Gabisonia, Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation at the National Center of Manuscripts of Georgia, met with the scientific staff of 13 research institutes of Kartvelology. The Director of the Centre Zaza Abashidze addressed the participants of the meeting. Zviad Gabisonia emphasized the need to support Kartvelological centres abroad, On the importance of opening a Rustaveli office at various universities around the world. Also, to enhance the Kartvelological direction, improve coordination between research institutions in this field, maintain the independence of the institutions, and establish a Joint Kartvelological Center. The Director-General of the Foundation noted that joining EURAXESS is a new wide range of opportunities and challenges for Georgian scientists to develop and meet high European standards. At the end, Zviad Gabisonia answered numerous questions from the participants, scientists.
