The Second International Scholarly Conference

(Challenges and Tendencies in Humanity)

November 24-25, 2022

Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts founded scholarly Journal — Scientia. The journal is published under the sponsorship of Tbilisi City Hall and Humanities Research Centre.

This year, the journal will host a scientific conference that aims to raise a number of problematic issues in Humanity.

Organizers of the conference are: Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts, Tbilisi City Hall and Humanities Research Centre.

There are several key topics within the conference:

  • History and Archeology
  • Archives and Historiography
  • Textology and Codicology
  • Epigraphy
  • Digital Humanities
  • Ethnology and Anthropology
  • Restoration
  • Cultural identities and social theories

The deadline to submit a conference paper is 31 October, 2022.

For participation, please fill conference registration form with indication of Name, Surname, scientific degree, affiliation, country and contact number. The registration form should be accompanied with a full abstract (3-4 pages in A4 size, font: Times New Roman 11).

Submitted papers will undergo double-blind peer review. Selected participants will be informed via email no later than November 5, 2022.
The conference will be held on November 24-25, 2022 in a hybrid format (taking into account the current epidemiological situation) – not only to the conference hall of the National Center for Manuscripts but also, we are using the Zoom platform. abstracts will be published and given to the participants in the conference days.
